Nope! We use SLES (sodium laureth sulfate) instead of SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate). It's a much milder and gentler alternative to SLS. If you'd like to find out more about the differences between them and why they're needed in the first place, click here.
Even better, we will upcycle it for you. Pouches are rarely recyclable in normally recycling, (although ours are under Code 7) due to the mix of materials used to ensure ease of use. By using the latest innovative technology, we have them reprocessed (which has an extremely low carbon footprint) to be made into fuel to run homes and cars or remade back into plastic. Click here to find out how to send your pouches back to us free of charge.
We are working tirelessly to find a plastic-free alternative to our pouch. As we use a liquid product, it is difficult to find an alternative to plastic for our containers. Although there are "biodegradable plastics" available on the market, unfortunately these materials biodegrade into micro-plastics which are more harmful to the environment than regular plastic. We are committed to working with the latest innovators to find a plastic-free alternative. Please keep an eye on our developments on our social media channels.
